She was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Gilbert and Martha McConkey Bell.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and four sisters.
Mrs. Pylant leaves one son, Gilbert Eugene Boyd of Texas; one brother, Emmett Bell of Kimbolton; three sisters, Velma Durben of Kimbolton; Dorothy Hunt of California; Margaret "Betty" Hope of Oregon; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
