Edward G. Evans, 75, of 987 21st St., San Bernardino, California, died December 28, 1961 in a San Bernardino hospital.
A native of Vernal, he had lived in San Bernardino 38 years. He was a carpenter for the Santa Fe Railway for 24 years.
Survivors include the widow, Annie, two sons, J. F. of San Bernardino and M. G. of Colton; a brother, Hugh of Norco; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Myrtle Goodman of Corona; Mrs. Emma Hoff of Escondito and Mrs. Edith Sleight of San Diego and three grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, January 2 at Stephens and Bobbitt Chapel with Bishop Morris C. Whitlock of San Bernardino Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints officiating.
Burial was in the Montecito Memorial Park.
Mrs. Evans is sister to Mrs. Mary Bennion of Vernal.
