Joseph William Steiger, 39, of 223 Iroquois Ave., died Friday at his home after an illness. He retired five years ago as a meter reader at the Louisville Water Co. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ann M. Williams and the Misses Judy L. and Kimberly S. Steiger; a son, Joseph W. Steiger Jr.; his mother, Mrs. Edna Mae Steiger; and a grandchild. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6105 S. Third St., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, will be after 4 p.m. Saturday.
