Geneva Mae Dean, 69, Rt. 2, Atlanta, died Friday at her home.
Born April 11,1923, in Henry County, she was the daughter of Silas and Alice Nolan Renfro. She was married July 2, 1943, to Roma Dean. He preceded her in death July 2, 1991.
She was a graduate of Knightstown High School in the Class of 1942. She was a farm wife and a member of the Hobbs Christian Church and the Ladies Aid of the church. She also was a member of the Plumb Grove Extension Homemakers Club.
Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie Shelden of Atlanta; three sons, Gary E. Dean of Cicero, Danny J. Dean of Elwood and John Dean of Atlanta; three sisters, Minnie Clapp and Betty Applegate of Spiceland and Lola Conrad of Dunrieth; one brother, Franklin D. Renfro of Shirley ; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild
One son, James W. Dean, one brother, George Renfro, and one sister, Bertha Stearns, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hartley Funeral Homes, Arcadia Chapel with the Rev. Karen Binford officiating. Burial will be in the Arcadia Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
