Eddie Graham married my grandma, Bessie Helen Toney Shonk. He was the only grandpa I really knew as a child and the one I think of when I think of 'grandpa.' Grandma & Grandpa had a laundry service in Paris, Illinois and I spent my days with them, as my mom worked for them. He always made sure I had cookies that they kept in a lower drawer in the kitchen so that I could reach them!
He and my dad and uncles would get together and play accordion, banjo and guitar and whatever else they could find. It was a very fun time!
