Jimmy was the son of James Arthur Darnell and Louisa Laws. When his son Henry moved to Richmond County Georgia around 1916, Jimmy would take the train over to visit. He was married to Susan Meetze (Metts). He is buried behind the church, with a small marker that just says "Jimmy Darnell" died 1922. I do not know where Susan is buried, or when she died. Grandson Allen could not remember her ever making the train trips with Jimmy. Census says they had 6 children. Information in only known on 4: Emma, Alice, Henry, and Joseph.

I do not know why his marker says he died in 1922, when his death certificate, and the social security death index both says 1923.
