Wm. Earl Aron of Houlka Dies

William Earl Aron died at 4:20 am, Sunday in the Pontotoc Community Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was 58, a Mason, Shriner, cattleman, farmer and a member of Houlka Methodist Church, and an ex-Supervisor of Beat 2, Chickasaw county.

He had resided in Chickasaw county the past 35 years.

Funeral services were held at the Houlka Methodist Church at 2 pm, Monday , with Rev. Crawford Ray of Lexington officiating, assisted by Rev. Marshall Grisham.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery with Houlka Funeral Home in charge.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Christine Gordon Aron; one son, Billy G Aron; his mother, Mrs. W L Aron, Pontotoc; one brother, Lelon Aron, Pontotoc; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Collums of Houlka and Mrs. Norma Swords of Statesboro, Ga., and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James K Bishop, R A Easley, Jimmy Hood, Dr. John E Powell, Ray Houston, and Theo Easley.
