Ermaleen Kay Etier was born to Lloyd Wayne Etier and Ermaleen Hambrick in Yuma, Yuma Co., Arizona. On Dec 27, 1947, Ermaleen Hambrick Etier died due to complication of child birth of Ermaleen Kay Etier. Lloyd Wayne buried his wife in the Dessert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, AZ. As a very small infant she was awarded legal custody to her grandparents, William Cornelius Etier and Flossie Mae (Phillips) Etier. They raised Ermaleen in Yuma, AZ until Uncle Will and Aunt Flossie retired and moved to Parker Co., Texas. Ermaleen finished her education in Texas, a graduate of Millsap High School and attended nursing school and obtained her degree.
March 13, 1974, Ermaleen Etier married Bowden Barto Farrar in Fort Worth, Texas. Ermaleen and Barto had no children but adoped a son, Anthony "Tony" Brandon Farrar. Ermaleen was survived by her husband, Barto Farrar and son Tony Farrar and Inez Etier, Aunt.
Ermaleen was raised by her grandparents who had legal custody of Ermaleen and out of respect for the situation, they considered her their child because she was legally awarded to them when she was but a baby. Lloyd Wayne Etier and his second wife, Dorothy Gary are buried in Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth, TX.
