2nd Lt Harry G. Bosyk was a fighter pilot assigned to 374th Fighter Squadron, 361st Fighter Group, 8th Air Force USAAF. Cited for his participation in strafing, dive-bombing, and bomber escort missions supporting the Allied advance in France. Harry Bosyk was killed in a flying accident on August, 29, 1944 when his P-51D 44-13652 broke up as a result of structural failure during a training mission and crashed near Middleton, England.
