Hilda Neasbitt, a resident of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed away at her home on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the age of 87. She was born on December 20, 1927 in Brown, Oklahoma to George and Maudie Rowland James.

Hilda married John "J.T." Neasbitt in Denison, Texas on April 1, 1950. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a drug department manager for Furr Foods for many years and employed at one time by J.C. Penney in Borger, Texas. Hilda enjoyed playing bingo and watching movies at the Village Apartments where she lived in Ardmore but most of all she liked to visit with her friends and neighbors.

Mrs. Neasbitt is survived by her children, Randy Neasbitt and wife Darla of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Sherry Kellogg of Aspermont, Texas, Twila Washer of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Roger Jones and wife Kathie of South Fork, Colorado, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Maudie James, husband, John "J.T." Neasbitt, son, Mike Neasbitt, sisters, Florence McDonald, Bessie Armstrong, Clara Thompson and Alice Adcock and brothers, Ernest, Harold and George James.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Restland Cemetery in Silo, Oklahoma with Rev. Jimmy May officiating.

Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, Durant, Oklahoma.
