Lula Mae Sutter, age 87, was a lifetime Atoka area resident.
She was born January 12, 1923, to Fred and Beatrice Hill at Lehigh, Oklahoma. They both passed away while Lula Mae was an infant and she was adopted by Wesley and Alberta Perry.
Lula Mae passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Atoka, Oklahoma.
Lula Mae attended Lehigh and Macendonia Schools.
Lula Mae married Earl Sutter on March 7, 1942 at Atoka, OK.
She was a cook at the Dunbar School and INCA Headstart for over 30 years.
Lula Mae was a faithful member of the 4th Ward Church of Christ and of the church choir. She especially loved to attend the Second Sunday Singings. She was in a bowling league, and a member of the Marion Anderson Club. Lula loved being with her family and with her church friends and family.
