The son of Ebenezer & Sarah (Sturges) Wakeman, he married (1) Ann Hill on Sept 4, 1748 in Fairfield, Conn. and (2) Sarah Hanford on May 10, 1752 in Fairfield, Conn.
Administration given to widow, Sarah Wakeman, on March 26, 1762. His estate was distributed to the widow and minor son, Ebenezer. Thomas Hill was appointed his guardian.
