Hudson Lee McNeal (1916-1960), 43, Welaka, died yesterday from injuries sustained while working on a bridge over the Oklawaha River on State Road 19.


Funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Pomona Park Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Pressley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Welaka Cemetery with Masters Funeral Home in charge.


The deceased had resided in Welaka for a year and a half, coming from Oklahoma City, Okla. He was a truck driver and a member of the Pomona Park Missionary Baptist Church.


Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Thomas McNeal, Welaka; two sons, James Edward, Welaka, and Dilliary, U.S. Army; parents; four brothers and four sisters, all of Knoxville, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walter McNeal, Jack, Walter, Mack and Lon McNeal, Mrs. Lucille M. Stokes, Mrs. Cecil E. Smith, Mrs. Nannie Kate Collins. Palatka Daily News, Tuesday, 22 Mar 1960.


Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Pomona Park Missionary Baptist Church instead of Friday as previously announced.
