Roy Cecil Allen son of George Washington Allen (1883-1938) & Bessie May Kemplin Allen Deskins (1895-1972). On January 24, 1942 he married Ada May Preece aka "Blondie". They had been childhood neighbors and that close bond turned to love not long after they met! Roy was known as "Doc" and there are many stories about their travels all around the world while Dad was in the Army. Roy Cecil Allen served in the United States Army from 1936-1957 and he retired as a Major. He then worked as a civilian government worker until 1976 in Cryptology at the Pentagon in OASCI. He was a decorated war hero from WWII and Korea; he was top notch in the field of cryptology. As a skilled Cryptologist he worked on many top secret projects at the Pentagon.They had five children together: Maida Allen Klenner, Roy C. Allen, Jr., Vicki Allen-Scott, Melinda Allen-Grimes and George W. Allen. At this time they have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. RIP Dad Mom left us and is on her way to heaven to see you.
