OBITUARY/ DUNCAN COFFIN
Mr. Duncan Coffin, who has been a resident of Winthrop for some ten years, died at his residence on North avenue, September 25th. Mr. Coffin has followed the carpenter's trade, but has been unable to work for seven months. Three attacks of the grip resulted in consumption. His age was 56 years. He leaves a large family to mourn his loss - a widow, six sons and four daughters.
The Knights of Pythias, of which organization he was a member, conducted the burial services at Moncton, N.B., and two of his sons accompanied the remains to that place. A funeral service, at which Rev. G. Fuller officiated, was held Tuesday evening.
