Willie Carter Wiseman, 90, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 21, 2005.
She was a longtime member of Belmont Christian Church and was retired from Community Hospital of the Roanoke Valley.
Willie was the widow of Charlie Wiseman and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Leigh Ann Wiseman.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Melvin G. and Norma L. Wiseman, Glenn Wiseman, all of Roanoke; one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie W. and Gary M. Chittum of Virginia Beach; one grandson, Brian L. Wiseman; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005 at Evergreen Burial Park with the Rev. David Walton officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 982-2221.
