Mary Scott Abner is the daughter of John Garvey Aber and Olive Sherman. She married first to Louis Calvin Nolf; second to Samuel Reitz.

Mrs. Mary Scott Reitz
Laid to Rest Sunday
One of Most Esteemed Residents of County Paid Respect of Community
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Scott Reitz, who died at her home in Coolspring April 26, were held Sunday, April 29, and interment made in St. Paul Community cemetery. Mrs. Reitz was 65 years and 5 months of age at the time of her demise, caused by apoplexy, after an illness of one year.
The deceased was born in Washington County, 0., November 26, 1845 (sic: 1857), a daughter of John G. and Olive Sherman Aber. She was married on December 26, 1887 to Samuel Reitz, of Cool Spring and had lived most of her life in that town. She was a member of the United Evangelical church and was one of the most highly esteemed women in this county. Her death has caused deep regret.
She is survived by the following children: Charles B. Nolf, of Homer City; Mrs. Nora G. (sic) Burkett at home; John C. Nolf, of Youngstown, 0.; Sigworth Reitz, of Coolspring; Mrs. Della L. Siverling, of Mayport; Mrs. Ida McMann, of Reynoldsville and Janos (sic: James) Reitz, Of Coolspring. The following brothers and sisters also survive: John Aber; and U. A. Aber, of Coolspring; Thomas Aber, Mrs. Alice Haag, and Mrs. Lot R. Jordan, of Oliveburg, and George Aber, of Ohio.
