daughter of Rev. John "Jack" Arnold Baughn - Ada "Addie" Frances Boruff

wife of Charles Lunsford

Sunday morning, Mrs. Charles Lunsford died as a result of a serious attack of flu - pneumonia lasting only a few days. The funeral services were held in the First Baptist church with Rev. Ray of Archer City, conducting the service on account of pastor Riddle's illness with the flu. This service was attended by one of the largest crowds ever assembled in Olney for a service of this kind as a lasting tribute of respect to one who was known and loved by our entire citizenship. Mrs. Lunsford, known by almost every person in Olney as "Mildred" having been raised up here, was one of our most popular young matrons and was possessed of a sunny disposition and a beautiful Christian character, and her seemingly untimely death is a shock to this entire community.

She leaves a young husband and one baby daughter, five years of age, who mourn the loss of a devoted and loving wife and mother;

her mother - Mrs. Addie Baughn and two sisters - Joivah and Lero Baughn were at the funeral from Vernon, Texas.

Miss Mildred Baughn was a school teacher in Graham from 1909-1910. After her marriage, she resigned from teaching school.
