Services for Alvin Louis Archa, 64, of Iowa Park were held Yesterday afternoon at Tanner-Aulds Funeral Home with Rev. David Jones, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Iowa Park officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Tanner-Aulds Funeral Home.
Archa was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Bonham, and was a retired upholsterer. He was a World War II
veteran and served in the South Pacific. He had lived in Iowa Park seven years after moving here from Fort Worth.
He is survived by a son, William Gary Archa of Fort Worth; a daughter, Paula Archa Booth of Iowa Park; one brother, Clifford "Red” Archa of Abilene; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Holder of Iowa Park and Mrs. Vena Smith of Fort Smith. Ark.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Darrell Nichols, Larry Payton, Oscar McCullough, Wayne Keller, Joe Fairchild and Mike Price.
