Passed away Feb. 4 in Kennewick. She was born to James William Prentice and Ina Goodnight Prentice, June 22 1915 on the family farm near Elmer, Mo. When she was four, the family moved to southern Colorado's San Luis valley, establishing a farm outside Monte Vista. She met her future husband, Harold, there and they wed in 1937. The couple traveled the West and Midwest, following his career opportunities as a master carpenter. Her husband precede her in death. Two daughters were born in Colorado before the family settled in Spokane in 1947.
