Loreen Spragg

Loreen Spragg, 85, Rogersville, passed away at 12:01 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2010 in Cox Medical Center South.
She was born July 22, 1924 in Waynesburg, PA, the daughter of the late Perry and Opal (McCracken) Riggle. She was united in marriage on April 1, 1943 in Waynesburg, PA, to Robert M. Spragg. He preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by a brother Lloyd Riggle.
Loreen, along with her husband and family moved to the Rogersville area in 1959 and established Spragg Veterinary Clinic. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Spragg and his wife Dixie; Randy Spragg and his wife Lisa, all of Rogersville; a sister, Diane Younken and her husband Craig, Waynesburg, PA; a brother, David Riggle and his wife Joann, Mather, PA; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Dawson, Springfield; two grandsons, Michael Spragg and his wife Jessica, and Jeffrey Spragg, all of Rogersville; two granddaughters, Susan German and her husband Gary, Hallsville, MO and Lauren Spragg, Rogersville; four great-grandchildren, Zachary and Elleigh Spragg, and Samuel and Thomas German, a very dear and special friend, Lesley Griffin, Rogersville; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Galloway Cemetery, Springfield.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
