Hardy Lee Jaggers Jr., 88, of Sonora, passed away Sunday February 7, 2010 at his Residence in Sonora. He is a retired diary farmer, a member of Sonora Fish and Game Club and Sonora Christian Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hardy Lee and Clara Payne Jaggers, three sisters Dorothy Knight, Beulah Jaggers, Bernice Bogue, two brothers Gilmore Jaggers, Lane Jaggers, one Grandson Kevin Baker, and one Granddaughter Delana Riggs. He is survived by his Wife, Naomi Ruth Skaggs Jaggers of Sonora; Daughter, Rita Sue (Lanson) Rogers of Sonora; Daughter, Denise (Jimmy) Myers of Colesburg,KY; Daughter, Melissa (Doug) Carnes of Chapelhill,TN; Daughter, Jani (Andy) Cate of Nashville,TN; Son, Hardy (Debbie) Jaggers III of Sonora,KY; 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 2/10/2010 2:00 PM at Sonora Christian Church in Sonora, KY with Rev. Doug Carnes and Rev. Robert Perkins officiating. Burial will be at the Sonora Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2/9/2010 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM or Wednesday 2/10/2010 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora.
