John McNeal, an aged resident of Tumwater, died yesterday morning at 5 O'clock at the resience of his daughter, Mrs. Andrew Wright, on Chamber's Prairie. Mr McNeal, who had reached the advanced age of 87 years, has been in failing health for quite some time. Mr McNeal came to the state a number of years ago and engaged in his trade of blacksmithing at Tumwater. Besides his daughter two sons, Edward W McNeal and Augustus McNeal, survive him. The funeral services will be conducted today.

The funeral of John McNeal was held yesterday afternoon at the Masonic cemetery where internment took place. A simple burial was conducted by P.D.Moore.
