Criselda Dominguez age 77, a lifelong resident of Abiquiu passed away on Friday January 29, 2010 with her family surrounding her. Mrs. Dominguez was preceded in death by her husband Ramon B. Dominguez, Sr., mother and father Elionor and Rafael Trujillo, daughter in law Maria Dominguez and brother Lionel Trujillo. Criselda, better known as "La Dear" served her God and her family & community selflessly. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, neighbor and friend-and will be dearly missed. Criselda is survived by her children; Edith (Armando) Trujillo, Ramon B. Dominguez, Jr., Ralph Dominguez, Russell (Cemele) Dominguez, Robin (Miguel) Nevarez, Richard Dominguez, Ruth (Marcos) Martinez, Renee (John) Cutter-Espinoza, Randy Dominguez, Rodney (Nancy) Dominguez, Ryan (Jeanette) Dominguez, and Rachelle Dominguez, sister Lydia Jordan, sister in law Angelina Atencio, 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, friends and relatives Recitation of rosary was held at Rivera Family Funeral Home on Saturday January 30th and also on Sunday at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. The mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday February 1st also at church in Abiquiu with interment following at the Abiquiu cemetery.
