Mrs. T. A. Cassels, of the T. A. Cassels Medicine Company, of this city, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at his home.
Mr. Cassels was apparently in his usual health yesterday morning and was down town yesterday afternoon, but went home, complaining and took a chill.
The family physician was summoned and prescribed, but the aged suffer relapsed, and passed away before the physician could reach him the second time. Mr. Cassels was born in Columbia, S.C., in 1844. He was a veteran of the Civil War. He moved to middle Florida early in life, and later came to Arcadia, where he has resided at intervals for the last ten years. Deceased leaves a wife and four children, two sons, J. L. and H. G. Cassels, and two daughters, Mrs. D. L. Cark, of Arcadia, and Mrs. H. W. Tompkins, of Leesburg, and a large-circle friends who mourn their loss.
Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. J. W. Vesey from the late residence of the deceased at 3:30 this afternoon, interment following at Oak. Ridge.
