MOTHER OF LOCAL RESIDENT IS DEAD:

Mrs. Lottie Poplin Nickell, 86, mother of Mrs. Nancy Weinel, of Middltown, died at her resident, 510 Channing Street, Mount Auburn, Cincinnati, at 1:30pm Wednesday.

Friends may call at the McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home Friday at 7pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:30 Saturday. The Rev. H.H.Jung will officiate. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.

Ill since last Friday, Mrs. Nickell made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ida Wells. for the past 20 years. She formerly lived in Middletown and in Ezel, Ky. Her husband preceded her in death in 1898, whom she married on October 17, 1877.

Other than her two daughters, she is survived by one son. Leonard, of Atwood, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Fox. of Mount Sterling, Ky., 19 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
