Al D. Shiflett, 76, was born in Adel, Georgia, and died in Tallahassee, Florida. He is a son of the late Hugh and Myrtice Harris Shiflett. For 50 years, he was married to Shirley Conner Shiflett, who survives. Al served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith. He was also an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Sharry; son, Alan; grandchildren, Lori, Lisa, Shelby and Amber; great-grandchildren, Lacey, Savannah, Connor and Olivia; sisters, Laurine and Christine.
