William Eugene Wisdom, 71, received his primary education in Farmersville, Texas. He studied at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Mr. and Mrs. Wisdom became members of the Methodist Church at Copeville early in their married life. Mr. Wisdom became a Methodist minister and served pastorates in the North Texas Conference moving to Graham in 1928. Following his retirement from the ministry, he served as a barber his remaining years. His wife preceded him in death.
Survived by three sons - Paul Wisdom, Richard Wisdom, Earl Wisdom; six daughters - Marie Goldstein, Bernice McDaniel, Helen Arnn, Winnie Chestnut, Babe Peterson, Maxine Miller; four brothers - O. Wisdom, Richard Wisdom, Tip Wisdom, Jim Wisdom; one sister - Mrs. Tenny Allison; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
