In Loving Memory of
"The Fork Lift Man"
Joseph Richard De Nardo, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on January 30, 2010, after a lengthy illness. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Verna Leigh De Nardo; daughters, Kimberly Pelfrey of Oklahoma, Christine De Nardo and Jamie De Nardo of California City; sons, Rick De Nardo of Northern California and John De Nardo of Oklahoma; sisters, Roseann (Marco) Flores, Nancy (Tom) Samuelson and Theresa Bryant, as well as 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many friends. His family and friends will always remember him for his lengthy and colorful stories. Joe was the owner and operator of a fork lift repair and refurbishing company for 54 years. He had many friends and business associates throughout California who will remember him fondly and miss him greatly. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Stickel Mortuary, 2201 Inyo St., Mojave. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, February 5, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 9970 California City Blvd., California City, with a graveside service at California City Memorial Park immediately following.
