A native of Jesup , Georgia , and a son of the late Gordon Hubert Joyner and Nora Lena Strickland (Joyner) (Thomas); also preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Olif McKinnon Joyner
and a son: Gordon W. Joyner .
He had resided in Waycross area most of his life .. He was at one time a Crosstie cutter ..
Survivors include his daughters:

Mrs. Ollie Bladen ..(both of Waycross)
Mrs. Joyce Tyson
Mrs. Patricia Taylor .. (both of Jacksonville)
