Mrs. G. W. Franklin, one of the oldest natives of Fannin County passed away at her home ... tenth street at about 11:30 Sunday morning.
Mrs. Franklin was born in Fannin county March 1851, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Boon, early settlers of the county. She lived her entire life in Fannin county and was a splendid citizen, wife, mother and friend.

BONHAM, Texas. Feb. 21. - Mrs. G. W. Franklin, 86, died at her home here Sunday morning. She was a native of Texas. A sister, Mrs. Emma Colvin of Prior, Okla; a son D. Franklin and two daughters, Mrs. Dee Ray and Mrs. Dora Elmore of Bonham survive. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday with burial at Willow Wild Cemetery.
