Cornelius Crowley, one of the best known Irish residents of the West End district, died this morning at his home on Cottage St. after a lingering illness. For several years he was employed at the several brewing establishments as a fireman. He is survived by a wife, five daughters, Anna, Margaret, Gertrude, Martha, Agnes; two sons, Frank and Stephen; three sisters, Mrs. John Connors, Mrs. Bart Connors, and Miss Annie Crowkey; one brother, Daniel, of this city, and John of Boston, Mass.
