George William Chubbuck II, age 67, died June 26, 1995 in a Price hospital.
Born July 17, 1927 in Standardville, Utah; the son of George William and Ethel Freeman Chubbuck. Married Louise Colacito, deceased. Married Glenna Jensen, deceased. Married Wanda Gentry Melo, May 28, 1988 in Helper, Utah.
Member of the Catholic Church. Lifelong resident of Carbon County. Served U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force during World War II and Korea. Member V.F.W., Price Post #2379. Retired from Carbon County Road Dept., where he worked for 29 years.George enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, reading westerns, and dancing. He will be dearly missed by all.
Survived by wife, Wanda Chubbuck, Kenilworth; two daughters and one son, Ethel Chubbuck, Orem; Georgia and Chris Dunlop, Wellington; Clifford Chubbuck, Kenilworth; stepchildren, Leonard Jensen, Salt Lake City; Glenna and Ray Hansen, Kenilworth; Norma and Jerry Ward, Willis and Andy Jensen, Joseph "Dwayne" Jensen, all Huntington; Sam and Emma Melo II, Sierra Vista, Arizona; Angelo Paul and Bonnie Melo, Price; Joseph and Debbie Melo, Miller Creek; sister, Georgene Goodall, Kenilworth; brother, Robert and Marie Chubbuck, Spring Glen; 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; preceded in death by parents, son, George III, sisters, Mary and Irene, grandsons, Shane and Willis Jensen.
Funeral Mass Friday, June 30, 1995 10 a.m. St. Anthony Catholic Church. Vigil service Thursday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Chapel. Committal Service: Price City Cemetery.
