ADA - Mrs. Gracie Hackworth, 60, Route 3, Ada, died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday in Lima Memorial Hospital after a three-month illness.
She was born July 24, 1896 in Johnson County, Ky., and had lived in Ada 15 years.
She married Bruce Hackworth on March 8, 1913. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Ellis and Amos, of Ada, and Milo, Route 2, Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Snider, Lima; a brother, Fred Blankenship, Belle Center; a sister, Mrs. Cassie Billings, Florida; 15 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and several half-brothers and half-sisters.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God, north of Ada, where services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Harold Cook officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery.
The body was taken from the Preston Funeral Home to the residence yesterday.
