He was preceded in death by his brother, William Coon. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Coon; one son, Thomas Warren Coon; one daughter, Rebecca Coon McLamara; one brother, Joe Coon; two sisters, Sandra Myers and Judy Cosgrove; and three grandchildren.
