Oliver R. Beach, 75, of Freeland, died Sunday at his home after a long illness. He was born September 14, 1861 in Saginaw County and married Miss Flora E. Wyman of Freeland in 1883. With the exception of ten years in Gratiot County, Mr. Beach lived all his life in Saginaw County. He was a member of the M. E. Church, the Maccabees and the Masonic lodge of Midland. He leaves his wife, two sons O.S. Beach of Saginaw and R.E. Beach of Midland; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister Mrs. Fred McKeldy of Wall Lake, and three brothers Fred and Chauncey Beach of Aurora, Ill and Jesse Beach of Northville. Funeral services will take place at 2pm Tuesday at Freeland M.E. Church, Rev. Aaron Mitchell officiating and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under auspices of the Masonic lodge of Midland.
