MRS. JERRY FUNK OBITUARY;
Alice Funk, the daughter of Eli and Mary Rayburn Livingston, was born July 20, 1880, in Clayton county, Iowa and passed away at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Sept. 29, 1968, She was married to Jerry Funk on Sept. 20, 1899 at Colesburg, IA. To this union 4 children were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons and 1 daughter. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Burley) Mauseth of Aldin, Minn., 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren an two great great- grandchildren.
Services were held at the Appleton Funeral Home Oct. 1, 1968, with Rev. Lawrence Babcock of Lamont officiating. Soloists Mrs. Kermit Kuhlman and Mrs. Clark Schaffer sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Rock of Ages" with Mrs. Gladys Holthaus at the organ.
Casket bearers were Lorrell Livingston, John Schaub, Alvin Steinfadt, Ronald Shaffer, Robert Wilson and Dick Brown. Interment was in the Oak Hill cemetery.
