Mrs. Bower was a member of the Baptist Church and was active in the church for many years. She made her home at 327 Tennessee. Katie moved to Graham in 1885 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.F. Long. Survived by one son - L.E. Bower, Sr; two daughters - Aline Rogers and Iva Dell Boldt; seven grandchildren; one brother - Charles Long.
