She was born in Shelbina, Mo., on June 1, 1924, the daughter of Clyde Franklin and Edna Marguerite Griffin Studer.
She married Harry Tuggle on July 20, 1946 in Troy, Kan. He died on April 14, 1973.
Survivors include three brothers, Ray Studer of Aurora, Colo., Paul Studer of Shelbina, and Carl Studer of Aurora, Colo.; and one sister, Bonnie Becker of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Cecil Studer; and one sister, Juanita Haden.
Mrs. Tuggle was a Christian by faith. She graduated from Shelbina High School in 1942 and from Gem City Business College in Quincy, Ill. She was employed by Florshiem Shoes in Cape Girardeau. She enjoyed reading.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Chapel in Shelbina with Jim Bilbro officiating. Burial will be in the old IOOF section of the Shelbina Cemetery.
Visitation will preceded the service beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Memorial may be made to the Shelbina Senior Citizens.
