Berger, 71, former Resident of Benton County in the Vinton and Garrison Communities, will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm in the Fry-Holland Funeral Home, Vinton; burial in Garrison Cemetery; died Saturday in Des Moines; born June 8, 1879, in Jones County, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Berger;leaves widow, the former Salene Williams; two sons, Leland Berger of Vinton and William Berger of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren and one great grandchild, and the following brothers and sisters; Lewis J.,Garrison; Mrs. Henry Demmel, Vinton; William H. Berger, North English; Mrs. Louis Vogt, Vinton; George H. Berger, Vinton; left this community about 30 years ago.
