Funeral services for Fay Posey, age 79, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2000, at the First Christian Church in Memphis with Rev. Jack Cox officiating. Burial was held in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis under the direction of Memphis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Posey died April 21, 2000, in Memphis, She was born January 28, 1921, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to Williams Bradford Coleman and Ella Lee Blue. She married Tom Posey May 16, 1941, at Anadarko. She moved to Memphis in 1943 and was a surgical nurses' aide at the Hall County Hospital for 20 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tom, of the home; a son, Brad Posey of Anadarko; three daughters, Donitta Sue Robinson of Clarendon, Jo Ella Pate of Memphis, and Olivia Kaye Hansard of Hereford; 14 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hall County Hospital Fund.
