They settled in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania, where Michael worked as an engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad. They had three children: Catherine Bradley (1897-1919), John Charles Bradley (1899-1987), and Rev. Father Eugene O'Malley Bradley (1908-1992).
Michael died in Altoona on Apr 4, 1939. He is buried in the Calvary Cemetery.
