Tillotson, Deborah Buckley, 59, of Brooksville, received her angel wings on January 14th, 2010. She was born on July 10th, 1950 in Bath, New York to Howard and Barbara Buckley. She moved to St. Petersburg at 6 years old with her family, graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in 1968, and shortly thereafter began a life-long career with Allstate Insurance. Deborah married Lee Tillotson on March 19th, 1977. They had two daughters, multiple rescued cats, and a house full of love and laughter. In 2006, they retired to their country home in Brooksville, in a quiet neighborhood where they could enjoy the deer, rabbits, and eagles that often visited. All of her life, Deborah was artistic, and she was recently introduced to scrapbooking by her daughter Nicole. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She was loved by everyone she met and shared that love in return. Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Lee Tillotson of Brooksville; daughters Nicole Tillotson of Port Charlotte and Lauren Tillotson of St. Petersburg; sister Nancy Ferguson of St. Petersburg (deceased 2016); brothers Marvin Buckley of Lingle, WY and Randy Buckley of Bradford, NY; and her mother Barbara Buckley of St. Petersburg. Flowers will be gladly received at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 7820 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710, or donations may be made to the SPCA of Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Avenue, Largo, FL 33773.
