Mrs. Mamie Mae Bybee, 71, Indpendence, Missouri, died Friday at Trinity Lutheran Hospital. She was born in Oklahoma and lived in this area 36 years. Mrs. Bybee was a Baptist. She leaves a son, Larry W. Bybee, Kingsville, Missouri; a daughter, Mrs. Joan M. Roberts, Independence; her mother, Mrs. Ada M. Pippin, Lexington, Missouri; a half brother, James O. Pippin, Independence; four half sisters, Mrs. Helen Bennett, Kansas City, Missouri; Mrs. Georgetta Lawrence, Kingsville; Mrs. Ada Jo Edde, Englewood, Colorado; and Mrs. Eva Flowers, Buena Vista, Colorado; nine grandchildren and one great grandson.

Services will be at 1 P.M. Monday at Speaks Chapel; buried: Mound Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 P.M. Sunday at the Chapel.
