The Right Reverend William Crane Gray

First Episcopal Bishop of the Missionary Jurisdiction of Southern Florida, 1892-1913

Consecrated a bishop on December 27, 1892 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Married first Margaret Locke Trent, May 20, 1863.

Married second Fannie Campbell Bowers, August 2, 1877.

Their son, the Right Reverend Campbell Gray was the second Episcopal Bishop of the Diocese of Northern Indiana. Bishop Campbell Gray's grandson, the Right Reverend Francis Campbell Gray, was the sixth Bishop of Northern Indiana.
