LaVern Adla Jones McGinn Anson, "Auntie Vern" died June 1, 1997 at her home in Salt Lake.
Born March 22, 1913, to William Elias and Adla Johnson Jones.
Married Charles McGinn; he preceded her in death.
Married Harry L. Anson, he also preceded her in death.
Auntie Vern will always be remembered for her stories, her sense of humor, and the best pies in the world.
Survivors, Sisters, June Darby, SLC, Jean (Mrs Henry) Bondiman, Rupert, Id., and Georgie Jones, Brookings, OR; numerous nieces and nephews.
Also preceded in death by brothers, James Edward and Virgil Keith Jones.
Friends and family may call on Friday, June 6th, 11 a.m. to 12 noon for a gathering at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City.
As per LaVern's request cremation services will follow.
