Gloria Jean Moore of Hermitage, passed away at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell, after an extended illness. She was 61.
Mrs. Moore was born Jan. 26, 1948, in Farrell to Edward and Emily Zec Novak.
Gloria graduated in 1965 from Hickory High School, Hermitage.
She worked as a nurse's aide for seven years for O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home in Masury and prior to that, was a pharmacy technician at the former Thrift Drug Store. Gloria was also a beautician.
Surviving are: a daughter, Cammy Moore; and a son, Corey Moore and his wife Carie, all West Middlesex; and her grandchildren, Joshua Brindza, Xavier Moore, Dakota Moore, Jarrod Brindza and Taylor Moore.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents.
