EMBERT, Rosario Ramos
Age 73 passed away January 6, 2010 in Lancaster, California. Rosario was born December 26, 1936 in Baguio City, Philippines and was a long time resident of the Antelope Valley. She received her masters degree in education from St. Theresas Collage in Manila, Philippines and was an elementary School teacher for 40yrs. Rosario taught in Kern County School District at Rosamond Elementary School where she and was once nominated, best teacher of the year. She was a very faithful church member and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rosario is survived by two sisters, Amparo R. Balbin of San Jose, Carmelita R. Ray of Lancaster, three nieces and five nephews, Robert Balbin, John Ray, Karina Hier, Raymond, and Angelina Sarol, Othello, and Arnel Siojo, and Maribel Argana. The family wished to give a special thanks to her caretakers Lori Hall and Kristy Hier. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM to 8:00pm with a vigil prayer service starting at 7:00PM Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Halley Olsen Murphy, Lancaster Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00AM Friday January 15, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at St Andrews Abby, Valyermo, CA.
