MARY A. BARR, 47, of 6926 Boston-Laffoon Road, Philpot, died Monday, Sept. 25, 1989, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She was born in Whitesville, was employed by the Addison Corp., in Owensboro, and was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Whitesville and the National Hemophilia Association, Louisville. Survivors include her husband, Martin Barr; three sons, Richard Barr of Whitesville, Donald Barr of Owensboro and Charlie Barr of Fort Ord in California; three daughters, Carla and Anita Barr, both of Owensboro, and Brenda Payne of Whitesville; her parents, Dick and Helen Clark of Whitesville; two grandchildren; seven brothers, Curt Clark of Joliet Ill. Justin Clark of Philpot, Joseph, Clifton, Frank and Kenny Clark, all of Owensboro, and Jamie Clark of Whitesville; and a sister, Mrs. Rita Russell of Owensboro. Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, Whitesville. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation after noon today at Cecil Funeral Home, Whitesville, where prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the National Hemophilia Association.
