James R. Bell
James R. Bell, 64, of Kimbolton R.D. 1, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday (May 13, 1987) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital following failing health during the past year.
He was born march 11, 1923, in Guernsey County, son of the late Gilbert and Martha Jeanette McConkey Bell.
Mr. Bell, who retired from NCR in July 1986, was a Methodist by faith and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Preceding him in death were three sisters and a brother.
He leaves his wife, Mary L. Black Bell; a daughter, Mary Ann Bell of the home; one son, James T. Bell of Kimbolton R.D. 1; six sisters, Velma Durben and Mary Rose, both of Kimbolton, Mrs. Roy (Betty) Hoke and Bernadine Durben, both of Oregon, Inez Tylant sic of Texas and Dorothy Hunt of California; a brother, Emmett Bell of Kimbolton; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, where services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. James M. Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Kimbolton Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
